Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared during her stage debut. Then she appeared in several Broadway shows before becoming an international star together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. She also released her first album of music, It's Time For Tina in the same year. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was in the role of Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, a 1958 film. It received wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. In New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships to Lee Strasberg. The next role she starred in was with the year 1964, when she signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise had a long and successful career that combines Broadway television with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious rather than her glamour-doll image was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as well as Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has made a name as a director on several well-known TV shows such as Supernatural. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 29th August in 1965. The family relocated to Toronto around the age of three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood in Toronto and through her teenage years. Then she settled in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
