Coleman is a native of Blackpool Lancashire. She attended Arnold School in Blackpool. As headgirl, she earned straight A grades in her A Levels. Coleman regrets not having get a normal college education in her discussion of her Emmerdale experience. Coleman became a member of the theater group, In Yer Space while during her time at university. She performed with them in the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. She won an award for her performance while the production was also highly praised. When she was auditioning for drama schools, Coleman was offered the role as Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. Coleman won two awards in the year 2007. In 2007 Coleman was nominated for two awards: for the British Soap Awards as the Best Newcomer, and the National Television Awards as the most Popular. In 2009, she received nominated in the two categories which included Best Actress-Sexiest Women and Best Performance Dramatic. Coleman won a TV Choice Award nomination in the category of Best Actress. On 21 March 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat confirmed at a press conference that Coleman would be the companion of the Doctor alongside Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat has decided to cast her in the role because she has the strongest chemistry with Smith. Also, she spoke more quickly than he does. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been in the world of entertainment since 1987. She is however, more recognized for her TV shows as opposed to films. Eva was in a number of parts on the screen, but two stand out: the Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the role of Detective Natalia Boa Vistas' in CSI Miami. In the latter, she even received two 'Daytime Emmy' nominations and gave her a chance to express her creative side through music. Eva is an entrepreneur, as well as an actress. Eva has three husbands and one child born from the third.
