Pooja Shegde was born in Mumbai Maharashtra, India 13 October, 1991. She was an Indian Film Actress & Model with roles on screen in Tamil Telugu & Hindi. Personal life She was born into a Hindu family of Manjunath Hegde and Latha Hegde. She has a sibling named Rishabh Hegde. Pooja's family is primarily of Udupi. Pooja is able to speak Hindi in addition to Tamil Telugu Kannada & English. Pooja chose to become an actress or model because she's been fascinated by modeling and fashion since her when she was a child. In order to compete in modeling assignments, Pooja started her modeling career when she was taking classes. In 2010, she competed in Miss Universe India 2010, which she won as the second place runner. It was a turning point in her life. Mughmodo, her debut film in her career, was the result of a meeting with several south-based film makers. Mughmodo was her first film within the industry of cinema, was made by her after she met with several southern film producers. Oka Laila Kosam, a film that she was offered to star in, subsequently became her third opportunity. After that, she was offered numerous opportunities for roles in South Indian film productions. In the year 2016 she made her Bollywood debut in the Ashutosh govarikar film Mohanjo Dara, in which she was in the lead role alongside Hrithik. Following the success of the blockbuster version of the movie, she returned to Telugu. Saakshyam aravinda Samethaveera Raghava was her first Telugu film to be released after she started in Bollywood. She was in Bollywood movie Housefull 4 and her films were all successful.
