Hayley Orrantia is she is an American actor, singer and songwriter. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy series "The Goldbergs". She believes that she is a musician first and foremost. Music, according to her, is the very first thing she enjoys. She began playing with it when she was nine years old. After she turned 12 years old, the art of music was taken seriously enough to warrant professional training. When she was 13 She began to write her own music. The first album she released as a cover didn't come out until 14 years after. It hasn't turned back ever since. Orrantia has been born in the USA but has Hispanic roots. Though she grew up speaking exclusively English and never lived in Mexico she's very satisfied with her Hispanic culture. To keep it, she has learned Spanish and has written songs in that language. One of her songs was the creation of a Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' Orrantia participated in The X Factor season 1's auditions during the summer 2011. Her YouTube video was picked and she was awarded four "yeses" which is a vote, from the judges at The Seattle audition. She was originally performing as a solo artist, however after "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were placed in a group to continue the auditions. They were eliminated in the fifth week in the Live show.
