Hayley Orantia is American singer, actress and performer. Her most well-known characters can be Erica Goldberg who stars in 'The Goldbergs,' an American comedy show. The main focus of her is the performer. At the age of 9 of age, she was playing around with music. As she grew to 12 old, the art of music was taken seriously enough to warrant professional training. As a teenager, she started writing herself songs. Her first cover album wasn't released until 14 years later. Since then, there's nothing but positive. Orrantia was raised in the USA and yet she is of Hispanic heritage. While she has never lived in or was a Spanish speaker in Mexico She is very proud about her Hispanic roots. Her aim is to preserve the culture by writing Spanish songs, and also learning the language. One such song is "Hasta Verte," a song was recorded by her in Spanish. Orrantia appeared on The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia won the first season of the X Factor when she uploaded an YouTube audition video. She received an impressive four "yes" votes by the judge on the live stage in Seattle. Her initial audition was for solo performance, however, during "Hollywood week" she was paired together with three female singers into a trio for the remaining auditions. The live shows were held in the fifth week.
