Cecily strong

Cecily Legler Strong has been an extremely popular American actor, comedian and cast member for 'Saturday Night Live. Her career began in theatre but she became interested in comedy after attending an improv course at nine years old. She initially set out to be an actor however, she realized her real passion is comedy. Her next step was doing Improv. Her first professional gig was on a cruise ship, singing with the other performers of Second City Conservatory & iO Chicago. Strong continued to perform at popular events such as Chicago Sketch Fest, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York Sketchfest, and Virgin Daiquiri which is an female-only improv troupe. Her breakthrough came in 2012 when she made her debut on "Saturday Night Life" during its 39th season as a featured cast member as a co-host of for the Weekend Update segment first with Seth Meyers and later with Colin Jost. One of her most memorable moments was when she portrayed the character of 'The girl that you'd rather not have started an argument with at a party'. The year before she made her movie debut with a short film titled "How to Sponsor an Uterus'.
